Antelope or Dragon? by puppydogbonz Antelope or Dragon? by puppydogbonz
Lava Lands Visitor Center, Bend, Oregon

At first, I thought it looked like an antelope. Now, I'm leaning toward a dragon coming out of a hole with its tail poking out the other end.

Update 6/15/14: Cropped a bit. Thank you darkhorse11 for the suggestion!

Thanks!

I had a bit of help from the smoke/ash of a nearby wildfire. ;)

Way cool! I thought dragon as soon as I saw the thumbnail.
For a more balanced image, I might suggest cropping off some of the sky-so much empty space up there. This would put the "head" more toward the upper third of the image rather than the middle. I think the resulting image would be more powerful. Just my two cents.

I could try that. Thanks for the suggestion.

When I first saw it in person I thought of the Saiga (antelope) [www.edgeofexistence.org/mammal…. After looking at the picture later on, I saw the "dragon" in it.
